Job Description:

As an Warehouse Manager, you will lead a team of associates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the fulfillment center, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including operational oversight, staff management, inventory control, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:  Oversee all warehouse operations to ensure efficient order fulfillment.

• Monitor and manage performance metrics such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.

Staff Supervision and Development:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse associates, supervisors, and support staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Inventory Control:

• Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Optimize storage space and layout for maximum efficiency.

Process Improvement:

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
• Address any safety concerns and implement corrective actions.

Customer Service:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Resolve any customer issues related to order fulfillment and shipping.
• Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and defects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a high-volume fulfillment center.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and logistics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
• Familiarity with Amazon's operational processes and culture.
