Job Description:
- Write engaging content for across genres
- Excellent overall writing skills in various styles/tones
- Impeccable in English spelling and grammar
- A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online
- Great research, organizational, and learning skills
- High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs
- Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices
- An understanding of formatting articles on the web
- US & UK style writing
Required skills:
- Drive the entire content writing project individually for the website, blogs and articles for the clients
- Design the entire communication for the client across platforms
- Content writer needs to create new content, rewrite the existing content or edit and proofread content
- Responsible for managing content on for internal and external clients and develop unique ideas for web content across industries
- A content writer should clearly understand the objectives of the organization, and its target audience
- Develop simple, easy-to-understand, user friendly content
- Employing good search engine optimization (SEO) techniques
- Before publishing the articles on the web, should edit/proof read it
- The content should be informative and engaging and should enable the visitors to get their information promptly and efficiently
Desired Candidate Profile :
- MA in English or Mass Communication
- Team player, ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Min 2 years of experience in web content writing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Hands on experience in Word, Excel, Power Point
- Hands on experience in internet based research, online surfing etc
- Ready to work under fast paced start-up environment
