Job Description:

Write engaging content for across genres
Excellent overall writing skills in various styles/tones
Impeccable in English spelling and grammar
A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online
Great research, organizational, and learning skills
High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs
Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices
An understanding of formatting articles on the web
US & UK style writing

Required skills:

Drive the entire content writing project individually for the website, blogs and articles for the clients
Design the entire communication for the client across platforms
Content writer needs to create new content, rewrite the existing content or edit and proofread content
Responsible for managing content on for internal and external clients and develop unique ideas for web content across industries
A content writer should clearly understand the objectives of the organization, and its target audience
Develop simple, easy-to-understand, user friendly content
Employing good search engine optimization (SEO) techniques
Before publishing the articles on the web, should edit/proof read it
The content should be informative and engaging and should enable the visitors to get their information promptly and efficiently

Desired Candidate Profile :

MA in English or Mass Communication
Team player, ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
Min 2 years of experience in web content writing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Hands on experience in Word, Excel, Power Point
Hands on experience in internet based research, online surfing etc
Ready to work under fast paced start-up environment
