Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Working on the coding, design, and layout of a website according to the company's specifications
2. Modifying and updating websites according to a company specification
3. Collaborating and working with graphics and other designers
4. Troubleshooting website problems
5. Monitoring website traffic and staying up-to-date on technology
6. Uploading new images and corresponding texts
7. Deleting old images and text
8. Modifying existing images and text with changes provided to you
9. Adding new product categories
10. Adding new and deleting the existing categories
11. Making sure that site changes are implemented smoothly and that they do not disrupt the website's features
12. Working on the wireframe/layout of a website or web application
13. Writing HTML and CSS code from scratch
14. Taking a PSD and turning it into a working website
15. Adding interactivity to a website with JavaScript (or jQuery)
16. Writing a basic application in an object-oriented programming language like Ruby or Python or PHP
17. Writing a basic application in an object-oriented programming language like Ruby or Python or PHP
