We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress Developer to join our team in Guwahati, Assam. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and web applications. Your expertise in WordPress development will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and functional websites for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the design team to convert website designs (PSD, Sketch, etc.) into fully functional WordPress themes, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality and meet specific project requirements.
Perform website updates, regular maintenance, and bug fixes to ensure the optimal performance of existing WordPress websites.
Optimize websites for speed and performance, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress installations, themes, plugins, and integrations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.
Work closely with the project management team to deliver projects within deadlines and according to client specifications.
Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress websites and applications you have worked on.
Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL, with the ability to write clean, well-documented code.
Experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
Familiarity with website optimization techniques, including performance and security best practices.
Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development.
Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to analyze and improve website performance.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
