Job Description

About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function
2. Designing and building the website front-end
3. Creating the website architecture
4. Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
5. Generating WordPress themes and plugins
6. Conducting website performance tests
7. Troubleshooting content issues
8. Conducting WordPress training with the client
9. Monitoring the performance of the live website

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Should have a good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery

2. Should have experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications

3. Should have experience designing and developing responsive design websites

4. Should be comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc.

5. Should have the ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers

6. Should have the ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages

7. Should have knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)

8. Should have a proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

9. Should have a strong understanding of PHP back-end development
