Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Tally, exceptional accounting skills, and the ability to manage financial transactions accurately. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions:

Record and process all financial transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries in Tally.
Verify and reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

Account Management:

Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare trial balances.
Ensure accurate and timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Reporting:

Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Generate and present financial reports for management review.

Compliance and Audits:

Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Accounts Payable/Receivable:

Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Conduct periodic reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.

Software Utilization:

Utilize Tally for all accounting functions and ensure the software is used efficiently.
Stay updated with the latest features and updates of Tally to enhance productivity.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Account Executive or similar role in the accounting field.
Proficiency in Tally ERP software is mandatory.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
