Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Automation Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-wide test automation frameworks and automation strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation, DevOps integration, CI/CD pipelines, quality engineering practices, and stakeholder management. The Automation Architect will play a key role in driving automation excellence, improving software quality, and accelerating release cycles across multiple projects.
## Key Responsibilities
### Automation Strategy & Architecture
* Define and implement enterprise-wide automation testing strategies and standards.
* Design scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks for Web, API, Mobile, and Backend applications.
* Evaluate and recommend automation tools, technologies, and best practices.
* Establish automation governance, coding standards, and quality metrics.
### Framework Development
* Architect and develop robust automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
* Ensure framework scalability, reusability, and maintainability.
* Implement data-driven, keyword-driven, and hybrid automation frameworks.
* Drive framework enhancements and continuous improvements.
### CI/CD & DevOps Integration
* Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
* Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate build, deployment, and testing processes.
* Implement automated quality gates and reporting mechanisms.
* Support shift-left testing and continuous testing practices.
### Technical Leadership
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA and Automation Engineers.
* Conduct code reviews and framework design reviews.
* Drive adoption of automation best practices across teams.
* Lead POCs (Proof of Concepts) for new automation tools and technologies.
### Stakeholder Management
* Work closely with Product Owners, Development Teams, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
* Define automation roadmaps and track automation maturity.
* Present automation metrics, ROI, and quality reports to leadership teams.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
### Quality Engineering
* Define automation coverage goals and quality benchmarks.
* Identify opportunities to optimize testing efforts through automation.
* Drive performance, security, and API test automation initiatives.
* Ensure automation assets are aligned with business objectives.
