About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Serve customers by selling wellness medicine and meeting customer needs
2. Identify prospective business opportunities for the company
3. Negotiate with clients, book appointments, attend meetings, discuss proposals, and perform demonstrations of the company's goods and services
4. Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
5. Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor
6. Focus on sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers
7. Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature
8. Keep the management informed by submitting activity and results reports such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly & annual territory analyses
9. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
10. Recommend changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments
11. Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
