- To receive the patient in the ward.
- To inform the housekeeping and Executive in charge regarding new admission.
- To keep a track of the approvals from the insurance company.
- To obtain billing clearance before the patient goes for surgery.
- To prepare a list of all the pending investigation reports and hand it over to the diagnostic counter.
- To update the Activity chart of the patient on a daily basis.
- To send the Activity chart to the billing department one day in advance of the proposed discharge of the patient.
- To explain the discharge procedure to the patients.
- To enter the track-sheets for the discharges and hand it over to the executive in charge on a daily basis.
- To collect the feedback forms from the patients and forward it to Quality department.
- To collect /dispatch blue folder from the medical records.
