Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Field Sales Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and be willing to travel extensively for client visits. The role involves visiting industrial and automotive customers, promoting our products and services, identifying and onboarding new customers, and ensuring timely payment collection.
This is a field-oriented role suited for individuals who enjoy customer interaction, relationship building, and achieving targets. Attractive allowances and performance-based incentives are also offered as part of the compensation package.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Visits & Customer Engagement:

Visit prospective and existing customers daily within the assigned territory or route plan.

Build strong relationships with purchase managers, plant heads, store in-charges, mechanics, and decision-makers in industrial and automotive segments.

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services and educate customers about their benefits and applications.

Conduct product trials, provide samples when required, and offer technical support in coordination with the internal team.
2. New Customer Acquisition:

Identify and develop new customer accounts in industrial hubs, workshops, garages, dealerships, or manufacturing units.

Generate inquiries, convert leads into confirmed orders, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

Understand customer requirements and suggest appropriate products or customized solutions.
3. Sales Target Achievement:

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets set by the management.

Actively promote high-margin or focus products to increase profitability.

Monitor competition and provide market intelligence reports to sales managers.
4. Payment Collection:

Follow up with clients to ensure timely collection of payments as per credit terms.

Maintain records of invoices, delivery challans, and payment acknowledgements.

Coordinate with the accounts department for reconciliation of dues and outstanding payments.
5. Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of daily visits, inquiries, customer feedback, and sales in company’s CRM or reporting system.

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports including performance updates and area insights.

Ensure all documents related to quotations, delivery orders, and receipts are updated and filed correctly.
6. Post-Sales Support:

Ensure smooth delivery of products to customers by coordinating with the logistics or warehouse team.

Address customer queries, complaints, or after-sales service issues promptly and professionally.

Build long-term relationships with key accounts and ensure repeat business.
Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and have a personal bike or scooter for field visits.

Ability to plan routes, manage daily schedules, and handle multiple customer visits efficiently. -
Basic Financial Knowledge:
Comfortable handling billing queries, payment follow-ups, and basic account reconciliation. -
Self-Motivation:
High level of energy and discipline to work independently in the field. -
Technical Awareness (optional):
Knowledge of automotive or industrial products and their usage is a plus.
