Research Associate Botany job position in in G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development purely temporary positions
Project : “Timberline and Altitudinal Gradient Ecology of Himalayas, and Human Use Sustenance in a Warming Climate”, under National Mission of Himalayan Studies (NMHS), Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (Govt. of India)
Qualification (Essential) : Ph.D. with first class Masters degree in Botany/Forestry/Ecology/Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences, supported by research publications in peer reviewed journals. Qualification (desirable): Working experience in field biodiversity assessment and related research, preferably in high altitude Himalayan region; should possess analytical capabilities, computer proficiency, writing project report/management plan, etc.
