Group Leaders Virology and Diabetes
Duty Station: Cape Town, South Africa
ICGEB is recruiting for Group Leader positions at its Cape Town Component in the following two fields:
Virology – Emerging Diseases/ Diabetes
Qualifications: PhD in the respective field of expertise, Molecular Biology or equivalent. A minimum 3-5 years of active experience.
Competencies: Candidates should have a proven track record of research excellence and a strong background in the field of expertise, leading an internationally-recognised team of scientists, a strong publication record and an ability to attract competitive research funding.
