Hair Stylist Job in TIMS TRIM SALON at Sanjay Nagar, Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

1. Hair Cutting & Styling

• Provide professional haircuts and styling services to men, women, and children.

• Customize hairstyles according to client preferences, facial features, hair type, and current trends.

• Suggest suitable styles for special occasions such as weddings, parties, or professional events.

• Perform blow-drying, straightening, curling, and other styling techniques.

2. Hair Coloring & Treatments

• Offer hair coloring services including highlights, global color, root touch-ups, fashion colors, etc.

• Perform chemical treatments such as smoothening, straightening, keratin treatment, cysteine, etc.

• Analyze hair texture and condition before recommending appropriate treatments.

• Ensure proper mixing, application, and timing of all color and treatment products.

3. Client Consultation

• Conduct detailed consultations with clients to understand their requirements and preferences.

• Offer professional advice and suggest hairstyles or treatments based on client needs.

• Educate clients on post-treatment care, hair maintenance, and suitable products.

4. Salon Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness of tools, chairs, workstation, and equipment before and after each client.

• Sterilize combs, scissors, razors, and styling tools as per salon hygiene protocols.

• Follow all safety standards while handling chemical products and equipment.

• Wear proper grooming attire, gloves, and masks as required.

5. Product Sales & Upselling

• Promote salon services and recommend appropriate haircare products to clients.

• Meet or exceed sales targets for in-salon products or memberships.

• Stay informed about new product launches and offer samples or demos where applicable.

6. Record Keeping & Appointment Management

• Maintain accurate client records including service history, preferences, and allergies.

• Work closely with the reception team to manage bookings and time slots efficiently.

• Ensure minimum waiting time and a smooth customer experience.

7. Trend Awareness & Training

• Stay updated on the latest hair styling trends, cuts, and coloring techniques.

• Attend internal or external training workshops to upgrade skills.

• Participate in salon promotional activities, fashion shows, or grooming events if required.
