Harbour Master job opportunities in Deendayal Port Trust
Applications are invited for filling up the post of Harbour
Master, in the scale of pay of Rs.43200-66000 (IDA), on Deputation / Direct
Recruitment basis as per the Recruitment Rules
For Deputation : Officers holding analogous posts or holding
posts of Dock Master/Master Pilot/Dredging Supdt. and its equivalent dock side
post with experience of 2 years regular service in Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies
will be eligible.
The selection is by merit for which the benchmark in overall
grading in the ACRs will not be below “Very Good”. The deputation will be
governed by the Rules / Guidelines issued by the Central Govt. from time to
time. The deputation will be for a period of three years.
For Direct Recruitment : Educational and other Qualifications : i) Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of shipping, Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India. ii) Must hold Pilot license and have experience of 8 years either as Master of foreign going ship or in Piloting or cumulative.
