International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) invites application for the position of Senior Scientific Officer
1. Position: Senior Scientific Officer - National
2. Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze and organize data for mapping of ICRISAT mandate crops in South Asia and Africa
Assist the RS/GIS specialist in tasks related to RS & GIS
Mapping agriculture-based remote sensing products using Traditional and ML Techniques along with validation
Automation of processes related to RS
Yield assessment using advanced Remote sensing techniques and Crop Models
Creating smart sampling for CCEs/ground data collection, and conduct of ground data and CCE collection

4. Key Skills: Remote sensing, GIS
5. Additional/Preferred Skills: Google earth engine
6. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree
7. Preferred Industry Experience: Three years
