Essential Qualifications & Experience:
MTech/ME/MDes or equivalent degree OR
BTech/BE/MA/MSc/MCA/ MBA or equivalent degree with 2 years relevant experience
Academic and/or work experience in the rural social development sector would be a plus.

Job Profile: The position will involve coordinating projects with the Project Manager and Principal Investigators (PIs) of TDSC, faculty members and students of IIT Bombay, with a focus on supporting TDSCs projects. The work scope will include all aspects of analysis, design, planning and monitoring tasks related to different projects. TDSC projects will primarily be in the areas of water, energy, sanitation and other livelihood related domains and (based on her/his background and interest) the engineer would be expected to work in these interdisciplinary areas.

 This position aims to fulfill the role of an engineer and a planner for rural infrastructure development projects, e.g., for roads, water systems, watersheds, gram-panchayat level planning, solar-based systems, irrigation systems etc.  Some standard tasks of the positions are,
 1. Actively participate and assist in acquiring new projects through stakeholder engagement,
preparing project proposals, agreements, data collection tools, report formats, etc.
 2. Research and develop methodologies for analysis/ planning/ design/ monitoring/ execution of
project deliverables.
 3. Execute ongoing projects, carry out necessary fieldwork, data collection, stakeholder interaction
and report writing for the same. (At least 10-15 days field work every month, with stay in rural areas)
 4. Develop outreach material for development-related topics.

Pay Details: Level PR-O1: Salary range from Rs.33600 to Rs 67200 + Rs.6250.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) p.m.
