Applications are invited for the temporary post of Project Associate for the project titled “Rural Technology Action Group (RuTAG) - Phase-IV”
1. Co-ordinator: Prof. Abhijit Deshpande P, Department of RuTAG
2. Duration: Initially for 6 months, extendable based on performance.
3. Post Name: Project Associate
4. Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and relevant engineering courses with first class
5. Experience : 1 Year Experience
6. Pay: Rs.21,500/- p.m.
7. Location: Report at RuTAG Office, IITM, Chennai ; travel to places on project activities is required
8. Skills/Experience:
Hands-on experience in product design and small scale fabrication processes through mini projects and work experience. Software skills viz., AutoCAD, SolidWorks and ANSYS is preferred. Basic knowledge of web development and databases would be an added advantage.
9. Responsibilities:
a. Contribute to the product design activities of ongoing projects
b. Review, collection, entry, and assisting in writing technical reports.
c. Fieldwork (interacting with the technology users, fabricators, design experts, innovators, etc.)
d. Will be required to provide support to a range of tasks as delegated by the management.
