Information Technology - Trainee
Location: Peenya
Work Day Pattern: 2nd and 4th Saturday and all Sunday's will be off
As we continue to expand and enhance our IT infrastructure, we are looking for talented BE Computer Science (CS) or MCA graduates to join our Information Technology. This role will focus on ensuring that employees have a seamless experience with their systems and devices, enabling them to perform their tasks without technical interruptions.
Position Summary:
As a Information Technology - Trainee, you will be responsible for managing,
troubleshooting, and integrating hardware and software systems to ensure smooth
operations for our employees. Your role will involve providing technical
support to resolve issues related to laptops, systems, and other software
tools, ensuring employees' productivity remains uninterrupted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support for hardware (laptops, desktops) and software (operating systems, office tools, applications) used by employees.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues reported by employees, ensuring quick resolutions.
- Assist in system integration, setup, and configuration for new devices and systems across the organization.
- Install and configure software applications, operating systems, and tools used by employees.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance to ensure smooth functioning of systems, including updates and patches.
- Coordinate with vendors for system-related issues and escalations.
- Document issues, solutions, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Collaborate with the IT team to integrate new technologies and software into the company’s infrastructure.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on effective use of IT systems and software.
Required Qualifications:
- BE in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or MCA degree.
- 0-2 years of professional experience (freshers welcome).
- Strong understanding of Java programming (basic knowledge for integration purposes).
- Basic understanding of system integration, network configuration, and IT infrastructure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist employees effectively.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently.
- Basic understanding of software installation, configuration, and system setup.
Preferred Skills:
- Java is Mandatory
- Exposure to system integration processes in a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with common office software (Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, etc.).
- Exposure to network troubleshooting and knowledge of Active Directory or similar tools.
- Familiarity with asset management tools and IT service management (ITSM) tools.
- Knowledge of security protocols, backup strategies, and data recovery.
