Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Consultation & Needs Analysis
-
Engage with clients to understand their financial background, lifestyle, and insurance requirements.

Conduct a detailed needs analysis to identify appropriate insurance solutions based on personal and family circumstances.

Educate customers on various types of insurance policies including life, health, motor, home, and investment-linked plans.
2. Product Presentation & Recommendation
-
Recommend suitable insurance products that align with clients’ needs and financial capabilities.

Explain complex policy details in a clear, understandable way including coverage, benefits, exclusions, premium terms, and claim processes.

Assist clients in comparing different policies to help them make informed decisions.
3. Policy Enrollment & Documentation
-
Guide clients through the policy application process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of forms.

Collect and verify necessary documents such as ID proofs, income statements, and medical reports.

Liaise with underwriting teams and insurance companies to facilitate prompt policy issuance.
4. Sales & Target Achievement
-
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance benchmarks.

Conduct regular follow-ups and schedule appointments with prospects and existing clients.

Generate leads through referrals, cold calling, networking, online marketing, and participation in community events.
5. Client Relationship Management
-
Build strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing consistent support and guidance.

Review clients' policies periodically and suggest upgrades, top-ups, or additional coverage if needed.

Provide timely reminders for premium renewals, policy maturities, and other key dates.
6. Claims Assistance
-
Assist clients in understanding and initiating the claims process.

Provide guidance on documentation and coordinate with the claims department to ensure timely settlement.

Address customer concerns or grievances with empathy and professionalism.
7. Compliance and Reporting

Ensure all advisory activities are compliant with IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) guidelines and ethical standards.

Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and policy data.

Submit regular reports to the team leader or branch manager on progress and challenges.
