JRF Plant Breeding job Position in Punjab Agricultural University
Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs. 200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM along with attested copies of certificates for one position of Jr. Research Fellow @ Rs. 31,000/- PM fixed + 16% HRA in the scheme “Molecular genetic analysis of resistance/tolerance to different stress in Rice, Wheat, Chickpea and Mustard including sheath blight complex genomics- component Chickpea ICAR-48 (PC-2328)” in Pulses Section for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.
Educational Qualifications: B.Sc. (Agri.)/B.Sc. (Biotechnology) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Agriculture Biotechnology/Plant Pathology/Botany with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.
Note-1: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.
Note-II: Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with three years Bachelor’s degree must have NET qualification and two years research experience. However, Ph.D candidates are exempted from this condition. The candidates should ensure that they fulfill the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.
