Job Description

Applications are invited from motivated individuals for a research position in experimental condensed matter physics under the supervision of Dr. Surajit Saha within SERB-DST project, as detailed below.

1. Project title: Spin-Phonon Coupling in Antiferromagnetic Insulators: A Raman Spectroscopic Study.

2. Position: Junior or Senior Research Fellow (JRF/SRF); ONE position.

3. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- per month for JRF position while Rs. 35,000/- per month for SRF position.

4. Eligibility: Essential: A Master degree (M.Sc. or M. Tech. or equivalent) in Physics with marks or a CGPA of 6.5. GATE/CSIR-JRF/UGC-JRF/JEST/INSPIRE- PhD

5. Desirable: Candidates with extensive experience in Raman spectroscopy and solid-state-reaction method for materials synthesis will be highly preferred

6. Duration: The initial offer will for six months that may be extended based on availability Of fund, performance, and mutual interest.
