Purpose of the Job

1) Handle the Shift , Maintaining & Monitoring EIG Submarine Network (Wet plant, SDH ,OTN & DWDM). Managing Trouble tickets. Co-Ordinations with Terminal Stations ,suppliers and capacity owners, Escalations & Notifications – Compliance of Agreed KPIs and SLA with EIG.

2) This Job Profile involves 24X7 operation, working in shifts, including night shifts. There will be three shifts and engineer will be assigned shifts in rotation.

Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities)

1) Network Alarm monitoring, timely notification and raising Trouble Ticket

2) Resolving TTs as per timelines.

3) Timely notification, impact list preparation.

4) Provisioning of the circuits as per the Work Orders in stipulated time

5) Preventive checks / routine maintenance of the EIG Network

6) Effective co-ordination with Suppliers for resolution of issues.

7) Effective co-ordination with Cable landing and Terminal Stations

8) Escalations as per processes.

9) Ensure 100% process compliance to agreed SLA’s for Srvice Assurance and Service delivery.

10) Good Communication Skills

Sound knowledge in Submarine cable system, DWDM, SDH and OTN

Educational Level-Must have:Bachelor Degree of Engineering
Working Experience-Must have: At least 1 or 2 years of work experience in Submarine Cable Landing Station/Submarine cable NOC. Must have good communication skills in English.
