4. Minimum Required Educational Qualifications and Experience: 

a) Educational Qualifications: Minimum Master's degree in Library Science from a recognized university in India or abroad with at least 60% marks. Ph.D. in Library Science will be given preference. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work. Thorough knowledge of computerization of libra

b) Work Experience: Post Master's minimum 8 years of work experience in Library. Out of total 8 years of work experience, 3 year's relevant experience as an independent in- charge of the library in Central/ State Government Organizations/ Autonomous institutions like IIMs / IITs / Centrally Funded institutions/ Private Higher Education Institutions of national repute.

c) Knowledge and Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

5. Remuneration: The position is to be filled at Pay Level 10 as per 7th CPC (Basic, HRA, DA, TA, and DA on TA) and other eligible benefits as approved by the board from time to time. For candidates with exceptional credential in terms of experience and qualification higher Pay Level up to 12 of 7th CPC may be considered.
