Job Description
- Network Design & Planning:Develop FTTH network designs using GIS-based layouts and tools like AutoCAD.
- Create detailed fiber route plans and duct layouts.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Project Execution & Management:Support and guide field teams during the implementation of fiber laying, splicing, and testing.
- Coordinate with survey teams to validate site data and ensure availability of Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) materials.
- Secure necessary Right of Way (ROW) permissions for project execution.
- Manage and coordinate with multiple external partners (TOCOs) and internal stakeholders (transport, marketing, planning teams) to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance:Ensure compliance with telecom, quality, and safety standards throughout the project.
- Conduct audits to maintain network quality and ensure processes adhere to standards.
- Support the resolution of issues to achieve "First Time Right" rollouts with zero non-compliance.
- Technical Support & Optimization:Provide technical guidance to field teams for installation and operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve fiber breaks, signal losses, and connectivity issues.
- Optimize fiber usage, split ratios, and the placement of OLT/ONT equipment.
- Documentation & Reporting:Prepare and submit design plans for client approvals.
- Generate timely invoices for partners and manage Work Completion Reports (WCRs).
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and procedures.
