Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Understand the legalities of News aggregation on a website
- Monitor global fashion business news (in English) continuously to update news section on our website
- Focus on fashion business giving interesting updates about latest happenings in the fashion industry
- Find leads and contact online news sites, news agencies and publishing houses for permissions for light linking
- Ensure fresh news is published promptly
- Draft error-free engrossing news article short summary in English
- Create, improve and maintain news content for our website & blogs
- Select, edit & position photos in the articles
Ideal Candidate:
- Graduate with background in Journalism / Communications / Mass Media
- Working 3 days a week, timings: 9.30am to 6pm
- Should carry own laptop
- Fashion Business-news oriented
- Team-player and eye for accuracy
- Comfortable navigating social media, online news sites
- Accepts constructive feedback
- Excellent English Speaking and Writing Skills
- Familiar with short-news formats and news aggregation, light linking
