National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) invites application for the position Senior Project Associate
Essential Qualifications: Master's Degree in in Physics from a recognized university or equivalent; and Four years experience in research and development in industrial and Academic Institutions or science and technology organisations and scientific activities and services. OR Doctoral Degree in Physics from a recognised university or equivalent
Desirable: Experience in fabrication of magnetic thin films by physical vapour deposition techniques and/or preparation of strongly correlated magnetic materials. Characterization techniques such as SQUID magnetometry / low-energy electron diffraction / photoemission spectroscopy etc.
Monthly Emoluments: `42,000/- pm plus HRA (as per norms)
The above position is purely temporary for a period up to 31.03.2022 or completion of project whichever is earlier and strictly co-terminus with the project. It would, therefore, not confer any right/ claim, implicit, or explicit for consideration/ absorption against any NISER post.
Age Limit: 40 years as on date of interview, age relaxation to entitled categories as per rules
