PROJECT ASSISTANT POSITION FOR DST-SERB RESEARCH PROJECT AT SRM RESEARCH INSTITUTE

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (Kattankulathur Campus) invites applications for a project assistant under the Science and Engineering Research Board  (SERB) sponsored project entitled “Multifunctional Hydrogen Bonded Thermo-Responsive Nanocapsules: An Indigenous Carrier System for Cancer Theranostics and Anti-viral Applications?”.

Eligibility: First class M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Nanotechnology/Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Zoology/Botany/Biochemistry/Marine Biotechnology/Materials chemistry with knowledge in isolation of anti-viral compounds from marine or plant resources, colloid chemistry, Layer-by-Layer assembly and in-vitro cell line experiments. GATE/CSIR/NET qualified candidates are preferable.

Fellowship: 16,000 per month + 20% HRA (for first 2 years) and 18,000 per month + 20% HRA (for 3rd year)

Project Duration: 3 Years

Travel Allowance: No TA will be provided

Registration for Ph.D.: Selected candidate should register for full time Ph.D. program at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chennai.
