Project Fellow Wildlife Sciences job recruitment in Wildlife Institute of India (WII) On Contractual Basis
Project Title : “Human-wildlife conflict resolution mechanism in the Indian Himalayan Region: Risk assessment, Prediction, and Management through Research and Community engagement (NMHS-HWC Project)”
No. of Post : 02
Essential Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Wildlife Sciences/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Environmental Sciences or Management/ Life Sciences/ Biodiversity and Conservation/ with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University. Candidates with two years field research experience will be considered for Senior Project Fellow (SPF).
Desirable Qualification(s) (DQ) : Experience /interest in: field data collection for mammals/people-wildlife interface issues; abundance estimation and analysis; behavioural studies; Remote sensing & GIS and working with communities to reduce conflicts
Emoluments : Rs. 16000 (JRF) OR Rs. 18000 (SRF) + 20% HRA)
Age: up to 28 years for JPF and up to 32 years for SPF.
