Research Associate / JRF/ Field Assistant   job vacancies in National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR) on temporary basis

Research Associate (RA-III)

No. of Posts  :  03

Qualification  :  Candidates having doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in any discipline of Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biology or equivalent with good publication record are eligible to apply. Candidate having a prior work experience in genome editing of plant or host-pathogen interactions and good publication track record will be preferred.

Emoluments :   AS per DST/DBT/Institute norms and as sanctioned in the project.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification : Candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests as mentioned in the DST Office Memorandum SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated January 30, 2019 and/or having M.Sc./M.Tech degree (with minimum 55% marks) in Life Sciences/Engineering or equivalent are eligible to apply. Candidate with prior work experience in plant-pathogen interaction or molecular breeding studies in crop will be preferred.

Emoluments :  As per DST/DBT/Institute norms and as sanctioned in the project.

Field Assistant

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification : Candidates must have atleast three years working experience in growing plant growth chamber and green house. An experience in working with rice and tomato is desirable.

Consolidated Emoluments : Rs. 16182/- as sanctioned in the project.
