Position: Research Associate/Junior Scientist I (R&D)

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented chemist to join our Small-Molecule Drug Discovery team at Immunocure Discovery Solutions, Hyderabad, India. Successful candidate will be responsible for designing and synthesizing analogues for molecular targets during the lead identification and optimization stage as part of a drug discovery team.

Job Description

Successful candidates will work closely with scientists, applications specialists, and technicians that provide support to new product development.

You will work with the R&D scientists and execute routine experimentations that help achieve research goals.

Should be able to elucidate the analytical data after synthesis.

Will be expected to own and lead critical part(s) of a bigger project while exhibiting a strong safety culture.

Should be a good team player.

Qualifications

M.Sc. Organic Chemistry or equivalent degree (Ph.D. not required)

Applicants should have 2-4 years or equivalent and relevant experience in chemical synthesis.

Solid knowledge in modern synthetic organic chemistry is required.

Preferred applicants will demonstrate extensive experience and record of accomplishment in one or more of the following areas: medicinal chemistry, methodology/catalysis, total synthesis, chemical biology, and physical organic chemistry.

Applicants should convey strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively in teams.
