Job profile :

He will manage dynamic and cross functional internal and external teams to better assess the daily fleet operations of Planning and Fulfilment while continuously driving and delivering results against established company criteria and key performance indicators.
He will supervise their regular Containerized/Non-containerized Transport operations as per company procedural guidelines.
He will take care operational and Service Quality aspect of 3PL Transport services business with shipping lines, appointed Transport service provider/Teams and Companies internal Operations & Accounting team for following major business activities.
Ensure smooth 3PL Transport services, documentation and reporting operations for the assigned region.
Focus on carrier relationship development, negotiated discounted rates, and service reliability.
Develop and maintain best business practices and carrier sales strategies. Recruit, train, develop, and manage the team to ensure individual and company success.
Lead the Transport team responsible for matching loads, scheduling shipments, ensuring on time pick-up and delivery, and maintaining positive relationships with carriers.
Coordinate and supervise Transport teams for timely completion of assigned Cargo transport services and process/submit required documentation with respect to Import & Export & Domestic services and communicate the same with respective shipping line or company customers.
Coordinate and collaborate with in-house business verticals and 3PL teams for transport related services at Gateway Ports, CFSs, ICDs, Warehouse & Customer factory, finalize the commercials, submission of proposals to Shipping lines/Customers (Internal / External).
Once proposal is accepted by shipping line/customer, coordinate with Business Verticals and outsourced Transport team for timely pickup and delivery of cargo as per agreed terms and billing to respective parties.
Supervise all Transport & Cargo clearance services are performed at facilities with desired service level standards.
Ensure all Transport service providers are timely reporting service status of the assigned services to Company, Shipping lines or customers concern teams and escalate in case of any delay.
Coordinate with appointed service providers for timely submission of bills to company.
Coordinate with accounts teams for raising bills to customers.
Assist account teams to follow-up for the clearance of outstanding bills.
Ensure desired level of regulatory compliances and quality of services are rendered by appointed transporters service providers.
Handle Company, customers and Shipping line issues and resolve by coordinating with concerned parties.
Escalate issues which requires attention of Company Top management and cross functional teams.
Ensure Timely Reporting to Customers & Shipping Line as per there requirement.
Drive a customer-focused environment committed to delivering the highest quality product to our customers.
Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the carrier department.
Recommend system & process enhancement measures.
Investigation of Incident & Countermeasures
Compliance to all Safety Norms for Transportation
