Senior Research Fellow
Qualification:Master degree in the relevant subject MSc (Ag) in Agricultural Economics / MSc (Ag) in Agricultural Extension or Extension Education) / MSc (Ag) in Agricultural Statistics /MSc (Ag) in Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation / MVSc or MSc in Livestock Economics or Dairy Economics or Animal Husbandry Economics /MVSc or MSc in Veterinary Extension or Dairy Extension or Animal Husbandry Extension
Experience: (i) Expertise in statistical techniques and knowledge in software’s like SPSS or SAS or R, (ii) Proficiency in computer skills (iii) Knowledge in mathematical Modeling.
Senior Research Fellow
Qualification: Master or Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject Master degree in Animal Biotechnology/Veterinary Bio chemistry/ Veterinary Microbiology/ OR M.Sc in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry with NET / OR Ph.D. in life-science especially in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry
Experience: (i) Proficiency in computer skills (ii) Basic Knowledge in statistical techniques (iii) Knowledge in ELISA techniques and Hands on experience

Project Research Associate/1Post
Qualification: PhD in Veterinary Parasitology/ Veterinary Microbiology/Veterinary Pathology/Veterinary Medicine OR M.V.Sc. In Veterinary Parasitology/ Veterinary Microbiology/Veterinary Pathology/Veterinary Medicine with minimum of three years’ experience in research, teaching with at least one research paper in science citation indexed (SCI) Journal OR PhD in Entomology/Zoology
Experience in taxonomy of ticks and experience working with molecular techniques Responsibilities In the project The RA is expected to be involved in the process of collection of ticks from field sites and identify at species level using morphological and molecular taxonomic approaches. The engorged tick specimens will also be analysed for host preference studies. The RA is also expected to support field visits to collect rodent samples and analyse them for host preference studies.
Pay Scale : Rs.36,000-40,000 (depending on the qualification and experience) + HRA as per norms

The RA is expected to be involved in designing and analysis of questionnaires from different field sites. 2. RA is expected to actively involve in conducting workshops for stakeholders 3. Involve in conducting surveys using Participatory epidemiology tools 4. Expected to travel extensively in the western ghat regions of Karnataka and Kerala
