Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Calling:
-
Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers using a provided list or database.

Promote and explain various banking products including personal loans, business loans, home loans, credit cards, current/savings accounts, insurance, and investment plans.

Use pre-approved scripts and selling techniques to influence customers to take desired action.

Conduct follow-ups with interested customers and convert leads into successful sales or appointments.
2. Inbound Call Handling (If applicable):
-
Answer inbound calls from customers regarding banking inquiries, product details, or service clarifications.
-
Guide customers through application procedures or direct them to the appropriate department for advanced queries.
3. Lead Management:
-
Accurately capture customer interest, eligibility, and documentation requirements.

Record customer responses, feedback, and objections in the CRM or lead management software.

Classify leads as hot/warm/cold and prioritize follow-ups based on potential conversion.

Coordinate with field executives or relationship managers for lead closures or documentation pickup.
4. Product Knowledge & Compliance:
-
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the bank's product offerings, eligibility criteria, interest rates, documentation, and terms & conditions.

Educate customers on KYC (Know Your Customer) processes, EMI plans, repayment schedules, and digital channels.
-
Ensure full compliance with banking regulations, telemarketing guidelines, data protection laws, and internal policies.

Avoid false promises, misrepresentation, or pushing non-eligible customers.
5. Reporting & Coordination:
-
Submit daily call reports, lead status updates, and closure information to team leaders.
-
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
-
Provide feedback to supervisors regarding customer objections, lead quality, or campaign effectiveness.

Collaborate with other departments like sales, documentation, or customer care as required.
