Job Description
Introduction
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Two-Wheeler Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of repairing and servicing all types of two-wheelers, including scooters, motorcycles, and gearless bikes. The candidate should be passionate about automobiles, technically sound, and capable of diagnosing and resolving mechanical as well as electrical issues efficiently.
The role demands someone who can handle routine maintenance, troubleshoot complex problems, perform overhauling, and deliver quality service to ensure customer satisfaction. Candidates with hands-on experience in multi-brand two-wheeler repair and service will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
1. Two-Wheeler Servicing & Repairing

Perform routine servicing and periodic maintenance of all types of two-wheelers (scooters, motorcycles, gearless bikes, and geared bikes).

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles and provide effective solutions.

Repair or replace engine parts, clutches, brakes, carburetors, chains, cables, batteries, and other components.

Conduct oil changes, filter cleaning, and lubrication to ensure smooth functioning of vehicles.

Handle suspension work, wheel alignment, and tyre changes.
2. Diagnostic & Troubleshooting

Identify faults using manual inspection techniques and diagnostic tools.

Troubleshoot issues related to ignition systems, fuel injection systems, wiring, and sensors.

Perform electrical repairs, including fixing starter motors, lighting systems, and battery charging systems.
3. Engine Overhauling & Advanced Repairs

Perform partial and complete engine overhauling when required.

Rectify gearbox-related problems, piston-cylinder issues, valve adjustments, and crankshaft repairs.

Handle multi-brand vehicle servicing including Honda, Yamaha, TVS, Suzuki, Bajaj, Hero, Royal Enfield, KTM, and other brands.
4. Service Quality & Safety Checks

Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality service standards.

Conduct pre-delivery inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and fully functional.

Follow manufacturer-recommended procedures and service guidelines.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment while handling tools and machinery.
5. Customer Interaction & Support

Interact with customers to understand vehicle problems and explain repair solutions.

Provide cost estimates, timelines, and maintenance tips to customers.

Ensure a positive customer experience by delivering prompt and efficient service.
6. Inventory & Workshop Management
-
Maintain proper records of spare parts, tools, and consumables.

Report stock shortages to the supervisor for timely replenishment.

Ensure all equipment, lifts, and diagnostic tools are used safely and maintained regularly.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills

Expertise in two-wheeler servicing, repairing, and overhauling.

Familiarity with petrol, electric, and hybrid vehicle systems.

Ability to read technical manuals and follow manufacturer guidelines.

Knowledge of multi-brand vehicle servicing and modern diagnostic tools.

Hands-on experience with electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
