Job Description

Urgent Hiring: WordPress Developer

Pearl Organisation is looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with minimum 1 year of experience for an immediate face-to-face interview.

Key Requirements:

Strong knowledge of WordPress and related technologies
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience
Available for in-person interviews in Dehradun

Key Responsibilities:

1. WordPress Site Development

Build and maintain websites using WordPress CMS, including developing custom themes and modifying existing templates.
Develop responsive and interactive websites that function seamlessly across devices and browsers.
Customize WordPress themes using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Create and configure WordPress plugins to add new features and functionality.

2. Backend and Frontend Development

Develop custom post types, taxonomies, and fields using tools like ACF (Advanced Custom Fields).
Handle server-side scripting and database interactions using PHP and MySQL.
Work with front-end technologies to implement UI/UX designs, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation.
Optimize user interfaces for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility.

3. Site Performance and Security

Monitor and optimize website performance, including load time and responsiveness.
Implement caching solutions and CDNs for improved site speed.
Ensure site security by applying regular updates, patches, and security best practices.
Perform regular backups and site audits.

4. Plugin and Theme Management

Evaluate, install, and configure third-party plugins and themes to meet project needs.
Troubleshoot plugin conflicts and customize plugins as needed.
Keep all WordPress core, themes, and plugins up to date.

5. SEO and Analytics Integration

Implement technical SEO best practices, such as schema markup, meta tags, and XML sitemaps.
Integrate Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tracking tools.
Ensure website content and structure are optimized for search engine visibility.

6. Cross-Department Collaboration

Work with the design team to convert PSD/Figma/XD mockups into fully functional WordPress pages.
Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate marketing automation tools and landing pages.
Assist content creators with formatting and publishing content effectively in WordPress.

7. Troubleshooting and Maintenance

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing WordPress sites.
Identify bugs and fix issues in a timely manner.
Respond to change requests and user-reported issues quickly and efficiently.
