Job Summary

  •  We are looking for a competitive sales executive who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment. 
  • The sales executive will act as the key link between our company and healthcare professionals and you will aim at meeting sales targets. 
  • As a medical device sales executive, your goal is to increase the visibility and awareness of our company’s medical products and maximize sales growth. 
  • Building long-term relationships with KOLs in assigned territory and conducting scientific activities.

 Duties and responsibilities

  • Identify & travel potential geographies for sale.
  • Contact potential customers at hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices, rehab facilities, and nursing homes to generate lead.
  • Arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling;
  • Deliver presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses.
  • Cold call and visit prospects on location.
  • Preparing and updating Daily Call Report online.
  • Manage all leads and customers within a defined territory.
  • Build relationships with medical staff.
  • Educate medical staff on the benefits of medical devices.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products
  • Communicate between sales, marketing, and support teams to improve customer experience.
  • Collect, analyze, and present field sales data to assist with strategy planning and implementation. 
  • Organizing conferences for doctors and other medical staff and managing budgets
  • Reaching (and if possible exceeding) annual sales targets
  • Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables. 
  • This may involve working with the area sales team or discussing future targets with the area sales/ product manager.
  • Regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings
  • Keeping up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations.
  • Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector;
  • Staying informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
  • Education:Bachelor’s degree with a medical science discipline (Pharmacy graduates are preferred).
  • Experience:Minimum 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/ medical device sales.
Skills & knowledge

  • Proven work experience as a pharmaceutical rep or in medical sales
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
  • Solid understanding in Bio-Medical principals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Highly motivated and target is driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong teamwork and networking skills.
 Working conditions
  • Person with this position has to work in assigned area.
  • Working hours typically include regular extra hours, but not weekends or shifts.
  • Work is generally field based and traveling in assigned territory.
  • Selected candidate will join on probation for 6 months followed by fulltime enrollment.
